The social studies group completed 3 Learning Progressions today. All three of them deal with "Economics" We completed one over Technology in Economics, we completed one called Global Economic Patterns, and we completed one called Governmental Influence. For the next session we plan on meeting in the ICN room. We have all of the documents that we will need to complete the rest of our LP's.

LP Jazz Band, LP Listening Skills, and LP Vocal Intonation/Part Singing

Continue learning progression writing and developing the complexity of the progressions.

We will meet in my room and possibly skype Mandy in Manilla.

The science group worked on LP PS #1. We will continue working on Understand and Apply Knowledge of Chemical Reactions next time where the writing in red is. We need help finding the document on Iowa Core where we can copy and paste bullets and explanations.

Algebra has been started and needs to be reviewed(Math LP3 Algebra). Jan. 3 we will continue to focus on the learning progression for Algebra.

Guidance learning progressions that were revised were "Acquire Skills for Improving Learning" (combined 2 of the previously-existing progressions that were similar),and "Academic Self-Concept". Also created "Developing Career Awareness" that day. Since middle school was otherwise engaged on this day, Deb and I were unable to work together. So, we will be continuing working our way through the guidance progressions on Jan. 3

We worked on LP EM Employability Skills
Roles and Responsibilities to change it up a bit in hopes of re-energizing the groups interest.

In the next session, teams will focus on making sure learning progressions are seamless and have increasing complexity. What is the team's plan for the next session (January 3)?
January 3rd we will meet in Beth's room to further review and refine our learning progressions.
What resources / instruction / help does the team need?
Our team needs no help other than mentioned in past blogs. We are slowly beginning to understand.
